Take a selfie in Volendam traditional costume. With a ‘wild head of hair’ of course because you have already felt the wind through your hair during the sailing trip from Muiden to Volendam.
From Muiden we first sail through the Groote Zeesluis, past the Muiderslot and the Groene Dreack onto the open water.
When we have passed the Muiderslot you can already see the island of Pampus just a short distance away.
The time to give the sailors among you a crash course “Sailing with the LE16” because it’s time to roll up your sleeves. The sails must be hoisted and trimmed and a helmsman designated.
We sail past Pampus in the direction of Paard van Marken and then head west towards Volendam.
We stretch our legs in Volendam. On the dike is a place where you can dress in Volendam’s traditional costume and take a selfie for your instagram or Facebook page

You sail Round Pampus on board of the lemsteraak LE16.
This beautiful sturdy lemsteraak is a newly build (2001) VA-klassen boat with the lay-out of the traditional Dutch workingboat used in the fishery industry around 1850 – 1920
She is with her comfortable, safe and spacy ‘kuip’ the ultimate ship for a day sailing with the family. Safe for the youngest and oldest of the family.
FortH te Muiden is the home-port of the lemsteraak LE16. An ideal Een ideale base for your sailing trip.

If there is a desire to sail from another location on the IJsselmeer or Markermeer, we will be happy to sail up to that port.
Note: Additional costs are charged for sailing from other ports other than those on Markermeer (Hoorn, Volendam, Marken, Monnickendam, Lelystad).
