Step aboard the LE16 lemsteraak in Muiden and sail in the old-fashioned way comfortable to Amsterdam.

From Muiden we first sail through the Groote Zeesluis, past the Muiderslot and the Groene Dreack onto the open water.
When we have passed the Muiderslot you can already see the island of Pampus just a short distance away.
With good wind we hoist the sail and sail with a bow around Pampus Island and IJburg onto the outside of IJ along Durgerdam towards Schellingwoude.
Then onto the IJ through the Locks (Oranjesluizen).
We will drop you off on the north side of Central Station. From there you walk straight into the center.

This beautiful sturdy lemsteraak is a newly build (2001) VA-klassen boat with the lay-out of the traditional Dutch workingboat used in the fishery industry around 1850 – 1920
With its large cockpit from which you have direct access to the spacious cabin below deck, it is ideally suited for the city-tour Muiden – Amsterdam.
