A unique holiday sailing trip over the western wadden region and the IJsselmeer.
The Lemsteraak LE16 with its skipper is the flotilla leader of a fleet of modern yachts from 32 to 54 feet.
On board the LE16 there is room for a maximum of 4 trainees.
Although it is a trip during the holidays, if you sign up, you are expected to be an active crew member of the lemsteraak LE16. You are partly responsible for hoisting and trimming the sails, keeping the ship on course and the like.
After the sails have been set and the ship has been cleared, you can start exploring the harbor.
We arrange food & drinks in consultation. For the joint costs there is a ship’s cash box to which you contribute pro rata.
The guidance of the Flotilla is left to the skipper.

This beautiful sturdy lemsteraak is a newly build (2001) VA-klassen boat with the lay-out of the traditional Dutch workingboat used in the fishery industry around 1850 – 1920
